Hello Golden Gate Navioneers                                                                           September 3, 2002

As usual the Concord fly in at the Curry’s was very nice. The only problem was that the food and deserts were so good that I ate to much and was stuffed for the rest of the day. We had 23 people but only one Navion and two brand X’s flew in. Of course we have about four Navions based there and some others close that drove in. Our photographer was not in attendance so I have no picture to enclose this month.

Our next fly in is FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13TH, 14TH, AND 15TH AT GRANTS PASS, OR. (3S8). We have given the details in the last two newsletters  so everyone that is going should have made their reservations by now. We have 22 people signed up for the boat trip and dinner. All those going on the boat trip please bring a check made out to the Golden Gate Navioneers in the amount of $43.00 per person. The chapter will then pay the boat company. Boarding time is 3:15 PM on Saturday September 14th. Everyone should be a little early for insurance. Anyone that has made a last minute decision to go can try the Riverside Inn at 800-334-4567 to see if they still have rooms. Also we reserved a few extra seats on the boat so if you let me know by the 9th  we will get you on.

We are getting close to the end of the year so I would like all members to give a  thought as to who might be next years officers. We need a president and vice president. Our treasurer  Yohannes Verhoek will stay on as semi permanent. Anyone willing to help out please let me know.
